Twilight Book Cover (2024)
With this minimalist Twilight book cover, I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and have become my 12 year old self again, but this time, I decided to be a little tongue-in-cheek about my design choices here. The “W” in twilight is a subtle-yet-obvious nod to vampire fangs, the creatures of choice in this novel, and I chose to include the treeline of a Pacific Northwest forest with a blood-red sky to emulate the look of blood dripping down the cover. Everyone above the age of 18 knows what Twilight is at this point, so leaning into the humor and melodrama with joking nods to subject matter I felt would be the best choice for a new cover.
